The Gaia Blu expedition

    The European LifeDream project, aboard the oceanographic vessel Gaia Blu, aimed to identify and evaluate the stress factors threatening deep-sea coral reefs, mitigating damage where possible.

    The project was led by the Institute for Marine Science of the Italian CNR (Centre for National Research) in collaboration with research institutes from Italy, Greece, and Spain.
